Brian Schippel

"Junior Golf Leader of the Year"

Brian is a Class A PGA Golf Professional. Originally hailing from Sandusky, Ohio, Brian grew up in Huntington Beach, California, where he picked up a golf club at the age of 11. He immediately fell in love with the game of golf and has been active in the sport since. Brian led his high school golf team to four league titles throughout his four years. Serving as Head Golf Professional at a prominent Orange County golf facility, Brian has developed a simple, relaxed style of teaching; with a blend of methods from studying the great instructors of our era. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the game of golf will inspire students to accomplish individual goals.

Brian has been teaching at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club since it opened July of 2004. He has built the Junior Performance Program catering to junior golfers from ages 3 to 17. It has quickly become the best junior instructional program in the area.

In January of 2006, Brian was asked to start a golf program for JSerra Catholic High School. He currently is the Head Golf Coach for both the Boys and Girls golf teams.

Brian’s patience, calm demeanor, and the ability to work with each student to meet their individual needs, has contributed to his teaching success.
